The prototype of the world's largest fully electric aircraft is set to make its maiden flight.
Swedish startup Heart Aerospace announced that its electric aircraft demonstrator, the Heart X1, is set to conduct its inaugural experimental flight in the second quarter of 2025.

The testing of the Heart X1 prototype marks a significant milestone in Heart Aerospace's development of the 30-seat hybrid-electric regional passenger aircraft, the ES-30.
The ES-30, which is set to become the largest fully electric aircraft ever flown, will be capable of covering distances up to 200 kilometers, and with the use of a hybrid engine, its range will extend to 400 kilometers.
Heart Aerospace plans to commence commercial operations of the Heart X1 in 2028.
