"Roscosmos has postponed the flight of Russian astronauts to the Moon."

During the session titled "Space and the Future: Will Space Once Again Drive the Scientific and Technological Development of the Country?" held at the Young Scientists Congress in Sirius, Oleg Gorshkov, advisor to the general director of the state corporation "Roscosmos," explained the reason for the postponement of Russian cosmonaut missions to the Moon.
«Роскосмос» перенес запуск миссии российских космонавтов на Луну.

According to Gorshkov, the commencement of crewed flights by Russian cosmonauts to the Moon is being postponed due to a lack of funding for the development of a super-heavy launch vehicle.

Last year, Vladimir Solovyov, the chief designer of the rocket and space corporation "Energia," stated that sending Russian cosmonauts to the Moon is planned for the period between 2031 and 2040. However, it now seems that this timeline is being pushed back to the 2040s.
