Female polar bears typically give birth to cubs in December and remain in their dens with the newborns for several months. Since the dens are located in remote areas, studying the cubs when they first emerge in early spring poses a significant challenge for researchers. However, in this case, specialists utilized remote cameras and GPS collars, which allowed them to observe the animals without disturbing them.
