A proposal has been made in St. Petersburg to construct the first super-tall floating skyscraper.

At the XIX Biennale of "Architecture of St. Petersburg," the Russian firm Ingmar Architects unveiled a concept and renderings for a 500-meter tall tower situated on a floating base made from decommissioned tankers.
В Петербурге предложили создать первый в мире сверхвысокий плавучий небоскреб.

To simplify the skyscraper's design, architects plan to utilize steel cables. The building will be equipped with solar panels, and a vast park will spread out at its base.

Data centers will be set up in tankers, cooled by seawater. The tower itself will be floating, although it will remain in a static position. Overall, this is an extremely intriguing project that could become a global landmark. However, there are currently no definitive plans for the construction of this tower.
