Using administrative resources to destroy successful businesses: In the Chernihiv region, local council deputies have appealed to President Zelensky due to the abuses of MP Boris Prykhodko from the "Dovira" group. The controversial parliamentarian is attacking large agricultural and industrial enterprises in the region through controlled judges, targeting the business "Zemlia i Volia" and the fire equipment manufacturer "Pojmashyna".

This is stated in a report published on January 22 on the channel of political scientist Oleksii Holobutskiy.

Boris Prykhodko is a subject of a long-standing criminal case regarding the embezzlement of funds from the Agricultural Fund. According to the Prosecutor General's Office, he, in collusion with the fund's chairman Oleksandr Kyryliuk and Denys Buhai, who are close to the Yanukovych clan, misappropriated nearly 3 billion UAH.

Prykhodko spent 2 months in pre-trial detention but was released on bail of 200 million, and after another 5 years, he received a parliamentary mandate. It seems that such impunity breeds permissiveness, as with Boris Viktorovych's arrival in the Rada, a wave of attacks on successful enterprises in Chernihiv region has swept through.

One of the targets has become the largest taxpayer in Chernihiv region, the agricultural giant "Zemlia i Volia". According to the owner of the enterprise, Hero of Ukraine Leonid Yakovishin, another MP Pavel Khalimon is assisting Prykhodko.

“He (Khalimon - ed.) creates a ‘front’ for him to officials who instruct law enforcement agencies to launch an attack. They want to destroy the business. To impose arrests on property, accounts, paralyze operations,” he notes.

The current attempt at an attack is not the first, Yakovishin points out.

Journalists have obtained footage showing military commissioner Oleško from Bobrovytsia district, along with subordinates, arriving to seize Yakovishin's equipment without proper documentation and “under the influence,” threatening the owner with a firearm.

The victim suspects that this episode may be orchestrated by Boris Prykhodko. The motive is personal revenge against the agrarian.

“As soon as he was released (from pre-trial detention - ed.), I did not support him. During the elections, I appealed to the public not to vote for Boris Prykhodko and presented my arguments. He, being close to the head of the NBU, stole huge sums from the Agricultural Fund,” Yakovishin recalls.

The ultimate goal of the MP, according to the Hero of Ukraine, is the complete destruction of "Zemlia i Volia" based on fabricated accusations against Yakovishin of ties with the Russian Federation through controlled judges of the Chernihiv appellate court. Using a similar scheme, Prykhodko is also "seizing" the company "Pojmashyna" – the largest producer of rescue equipment in Ukraine.

The Chernihiv regional appellate court unanimously decided to convict the owner and operational director of the enterprise – Oleg Averyanov – to 7 years of imprisonment for selling a vehicle that is his jointly owned property. This absurd decision, which the owner believes was motivated by his refusal to transfer the business to Prykhodko, was made by judges Mykola Osedach, Valerii Zabolotnyi, and Valentyna Antypets.

This trio of judges has already come under scrutiny from journalistic investigations due to dubious rulings and signs of illegal enrichment. Their unprecedented verdict in Averyanov's case casts doubt on the entire justice system in Ukraine, as the unjust decision will undoubtedly be overturned in the European Court of Human Rights. Therefore, the judges of the Chernihiv appellate court will certainly have to answer for their actions. The VAKS and the HJC are already concerned about this dangerous precedent.

Currently, a thousand jobs, 200 million UAH in taxes, and 80% of domestic production of rescue equipment are at risk of destruction. Such “appetites” of the raider MP seem to have even frightened the Chernihiv regional council. Recently, the deputies unanimously appealed to the President, demanding to stop Prykhodko and initiate criminal proceedings regarding his criminal actions.
