Renowned astrophotographer Andrew McCarthy recently shared a detailed image of our neighboring galaxy, Andromeda, captured during a night in Texas.

McCarthy utilized two astronomical telescopes with 30-centimeter diameter mirrors to capture Andromeda, which is located 2.5 million light-years away from Earth.
Of course, McCarthy's new photo cannot compete with the capabilities of the Hubble Space Observatory, but it looks stunning.
