In a press release dated January 23, 2025, Boeing announced preliminary results for the fourth quarter of 2024. These included $400 million spent on the Starliner. There has been no new information regarding the future of the spacecraft since it returned to Earth in September, leaving astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams on the ISS.
In October of last year, NASA reported that it would postpone the new Starliner mission to a date after 2025, opting instead to utilize SpaceX's Crew Dragon spacecraft for both the Crew-10 mission, which is set to launch to the orbital outpost in March, and Crew-11 later in the summer.
