The head of the reserve officer department and personnel of the Lychakiv-Zheleznodorozhny combined district military enlistment office in Lviv, Natalia Hnatyuk, has come under the scrutiny of law enforcement authorities due to violations of the law. She is accused of illegally removing 17 officers from military records, as well as concealing assets totaling 3.25 million UAH.
What Exactly Did Natalia Hnatyuk Conceal
- An apartment in Lviv (66.8 sq. m) – officially registered in her mother's name but effectively used by Hnatyuk herself.
- A Haval H6 car – purchased under the name of a military father, but Hnatyuk is the one using it.
- A debt of 500,000 UAH – not declared in her asset declaration.
- A fictitious sale of a Volkswagen Tiguan – the car was "sold" to the wife of another military office employee, but Hnatyuk continued to use it.
Scheme for Evading Military Registration
In addition to the violations related to asset declaration, investigators have established that Hnatyuk illegally processed the removal of 17 reserve officers from military records. This could have been done to evade mobilization.
Currently, an investigation is underway, and based on the findings of the investigative actions, law enforcement authorities may initiate a criminal case.
