This is a significant milestone for the development program of the largest modern amphibious aircraft in the world.

The minimum takeoff speed test is one of the most challenging flight tests for transport aircraft. This test is crucial for determining the safe takeoff and landing speeds of the aircraft, and it provides a foundation for subsequent flight tests of the AG600 to ensure compliance with safety requirements and to obtain airworthiness certification.

The AG600 is set to be utilized in firefighting and rescue operations. It is also known that the People's Liberation Army of China plans to use the amphibious aircraft for patrolling purposes.
