A rare two-handed medieval sword has been discovered in Poland.

History enthusiasts have uncovered a well-preserved medieval two-handed sword near the village of Biała Tymawa in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in northeastern Poland.
В Польше обнаружили уникальный двуручный меч средневековья.

Experts have dated the weapon to the turn of the 14th to 15th centuries. Specialists noted that the sword, measuring just under one meter, has well-preserved handle, pommel, and guard. This find has become part of the collection of the Ostroda Museum.

The sharply pointed blade indicates that the sword was primarily designed for thrusting attacks. Such weaponry was widely used in Western Europe during the late Middle Ages.
