The Army+ app has enhanced features: essential information for military personnel.

This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

“Now, military personnel of the Armed Forces can quickly and without unnecessary bureaucracy submit a request for transfer to another unit. The process is extremely convenient and takes only about 15 minutes,” the statement reads.

The defense ministry outlined the procedure for military personnel when changing their place of service.

What is important to know:

1. To submit a request, a military ID or officer's certificate and a recommendation letter from the unit to which the military plans to transfer are required. Additionally, a conclusion from the Military Medical Commission may be needed for transfers due to health reasons.


2. Command approval, as well as the Army ID of the commander, is not required for submitting a request - the request is automatically sent to the personnel center of the Armed Forces, where it will be reviewed within 72 hours.


3. In certain cases, the personnel center directly contacts the commanders of military units for approval. This is particularly true for transfers between support or combat brigades. Approval is also required if the military is an officer or holds an officer position.


4. In case of a refusal in Army+, clear reasons must be provided. For example, transfers are prohibited for military personnel who have served in their unit for less than 6 months or if less than a year has passed since the previous transfer at the military's initiative.

The Ministry of Defense reminded that all grounds for refusal are clearly defined by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated November 12, 2024, No. 1291.

On November 12, the government adopted a special resolution that introduces a real and transparent mechanism for transfers for our soldiers between military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On November 6, a new survey was launched in the “Army+” app, allowing military personnel to express their opinions on the possibility of changing their place of service.

Previously, five new electronic requests were added to the “Army+” app. They cover various stages of military service in Ukraine.
