Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the document regarding rare earth metals, which was discussed with the United States, did not include any security guarantees for Ukraine.
According to his
statements, the document was vague, and the only specific point was the requirement to transfer 50% of the resources mentioned in it. Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is not afraid to discuss this issue publicly. The President explained that the document was not signed precisely due to the lack of security guarantees.
He also stated that he suggested to the U.S. special envoy, Keith Kellogg, to visit the front lines to personally meet with Ukrainian soldiers and gather their opinions.
Zelensky highlighted that only one percent of Ukrainians support making all concessions to Russia, and decisions regarding the country's security should take into account the views of its citizens.
Earlier, we reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr
Zelensky stated that it is not appropriate to subjectively judge the actions of the fifth president, Petro Poroshenko, against whom sanctions were recently imposed. He was not the only person who withdrew funds from Ukraine.
We also remind you that President of Ukraine Volodymyr
Zelensky stated that the information about an alleged 4% trust in him among Ukrainians originates from Russia. These figures are being discussed between the U.S. and Russia.
