Why is the National Security and Defense Council meeting convened by the president regarding corruption in the Medical and Social Expert Commissions (MSEC) actually just another spectacle by the authorities to divert attention from more pressing issues? How did it happen that 95% of the leaders of the Medical and Social Expert Commissions (MSEC) and their relatives are disabled and receive corresponding pensions?

How much money and foreign property were actually found belonging to the former head of the Khmelnytsky MSEC, Tatyana Krupa, and where is her son now? In an exclusive interview with UA.News, politician and public figure Igor Mosiychuk discussed this scandalous story and its implications for Ukraine.

What do you think about the precedent of convening the National Security and Defense Council regarding bribery in MSEC?

Igor Mosiychuk: There are two remarks here. First, this is the responsibility of the regional councils, and decisions should be made on them as well. Secondly, we saw when I exposed the marauder military commissar of Odessa, Yevgeny Borisov, the NSDC was also convened. We were told that the mobilization system would be changed, these "hold-up military commissars" would be dismissed, and people who lost limbs would come instead, those who know whom to mobilize and whom not to mobilize, and so on...

What do we have as a result? Borisov is still in detention, there is no verdict, and the trial is dragging on. Therefore, the NSDC and MSEC seem to be yet another performance by the authorities. By inflating this topic, this problem, the authorities want to hide something else.

Are there any safeguards against corruption in MSEC? I'm curious how this system is organized in Europe?

Igor Mosiychuk: The history of corruption in MSEC that we observe should be divided into two stages. First, corruption in MSEC has always existed. This corruption involved how to establish fictitious disability for a local prosecutor, judge, or another "respected" person so that they could add a disability pension from the state to their regular salary or pension.

After the onset of the full-scale war, MSEC also turned into a feeding ground, where "white tickets" were sold in conjunction with the TCC. That is, "getting people off the hook" from mobilization became a "profitable business." And we are not just talking about "business on evaders," but about political business and political corruption.

Note that MSEC are formed and subordinate to regional councils, and the chairperson of the medical special commission is appointed by the chairperson of the regional council. For instance, Tatyana Krupa is a member of the regional council from the "Servant of the People" party. Her candidacy for the position was submitted by the chairperson of the regional council, Violetta Labaziuk, who represents the "For the Future" party. Violetta's husband, Sergey Labaziuk, is a people's deputy of Ukraine and is a suspect in a criminal case about bribery. Thus, this is completely political corruption, where you "hold" the regional council as a politician and have a feeding ground in the form of MSEC. This was the case in the past, and now it has intensified due to the sale of "white tickets."

The second stage involves how
