Ukrenergo has released a statement regarding power outage schedules: details inside.

"Ukrenergo" currently sees no reason to reinstate the electricity disconnection schedules.

«Укрэнерго» опубликовало заявление о графиках отключения электроэнергии: узнайте все детали.
However, a drop in air temperature will indeed increase consumption.

This is reported by the press service of "Ukrenergo".

Today, some media outlets have spread information about the possible implementation of hourly power outages in Ukraine starting next week.

"As of today, there are no grounds for introducing consumption limitation schedules for the population," the statement says.

At the same time, the company confirmed that the decrease in air temperature at the beginning of next week is indeed expected to lead to an increase in energy consumption.

"But whether this will require the implementation of outages (particularly for household consumers) can only be predicted by NEC 'Ukrenergo', which has not yet provided forecasts regarding the application of limitation measures," the statement adds.

The press service noted that "Ukrenergo," in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy, regional military administrations, and energy companies, is doing everything possible to prevent the imposition of consumption restrictions.

"We ask citizens to trust only official sources of information, and experts and officials of energy companies to refrain from comments beyond their competence," they added at "Ukrenergo".

Earlier, a member of the supervisory board of "Tsentrenergo," Vladimir Velichko, stated that meteorologists predict a significant drop in temperature next week, which will lead to an increase in electricity consumption.

He suggested that if NEC "Ukrenergo" fails to maintain the balance of the energy system, schedules for power outages will be implemented.

Subsequently, "Tsentrenergo" stated that Velichko expressed his personal opinion and that the determination of schedules is made exclusively by "Ukrenergo".

Previously, we reported that on the morning of October 31, Russia once again attacked Kyiv with drones. Debris from UAVs was recorded falling in the Podil district of the city, damaging power lines.

We also remind you that hourly electricity outage schedules may begin as early as next week due to a significant drop in temperature.
