The testing of the Heart X1 prototype will mark a significant milestone in Heart Aerospace's development of the 30-seat hybrid-electric regional passenger aircraft ES-30.
The ES-30, which is set to become the largest fully electric aircraft to ever fly, will have a range of up to 200 kilometers, while utilizing a hybrid engine will extend its flight range to 400 kilometers.
Heart Aerospace plans to commence commercial operations of the Heart X1 in 2028.
