This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with the Associated Press.

“Kellogg and his team... I am confident they will be in Ukraine soon. This is important for them, and we agreed with President Trump that the teams would start negotiating more. That will happen. They have contacts, phone conversations, and online communications. I believe there will be a meeting in person shortly,” he stated.

Zelensky mentioned that he has received signals indicating that the U.S. team will be in Ukraine soon. Previously, the visit was postponed “due to some legal issues in the U.S.”

The President added that he does not have a specific date for Kellogg's visit.

“It is important for us that this happens in the coming weeks, in the nearest dates. I think all of this will take place,” he said.

Earlier, retired General Keith Kellogg, whom elected President Donald Trump nominated as a special envoy for resolving the Russian-Ukrainian war, stated that he would “work tirelessly to ensure peace through strength.”

It was planned for Keith Kellogg to visit Kyiv and several other European capitals in early January; however, that trip was subsequently canceled.
