"Forests of Ukraine" aims to purchase fuel from a controversial supplier at the highest price, previously providing Russian fuel while claiming it was Lithuanian.

The Ukrainian state is losing 64 million hryvnias during the full-scale war. All these losses are due to an unknown fuel supplier who offered the highest price in the tender and has a criminal background.

The state enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" intends to sign a contract for fuel supply with LLC "Carpathian Fuel Company," which won the tender despite offering the highest price.

The company previously imported Russian fuel under the guise of Lithuanian fuel, for which the director was held accountable by court decision. During the war, the state is losing funds that could have benefited the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other state initiatives.

The tender procedure shows signs of corruption because, for example, the proposal from "Lux Ukraine," which at different times was a supplier for the Ministry of Defense and Ukrainian airports, was rejected due to an arithmetic error of 1 kopeck in the price of gas.

In the documentation from "Ukrnafta," which supplies large consumers in the public and private sectors, "Forests" allegedly found discrepancies in the documentation.

Currently, "Ukrnafta" has already filed a complaint with the antimonopoly committee regarding the client's decision. We are waiting for a response from the authorized structures and hope for a fair resolution and allocation of state funds.
