The tragedy on December 1 in Dnipro, where, according to preliminary information from local media, 17-year-old Arseniy Bessonov crashed his BMW into a Ford, claimed the life of a 10-year-old daughter of a military officer. Four others, including two children, are currently hospitalized. However, this is far from the end of the story – it is becoming rife with scandalous details.

SubscribeIt turns out that Arseniy is not a novice when it comes to traffic incidents. Last summer, he was already involved in pedestrian accidents but faced no consequences. Media claim that Bessonov is the son of businessman Oleg Bessonov, who was previously implicated in schemes involving fake individual entrepreneurs and money laundering.
3 It is said that Senior Bessonov has connections with Yuriy Prishedko, a deputy of the Podhorodnen city council, who was recently detained on suspicion of kidnapping a businessman-military officer. The family is clearly "not simple".
4 People demand justice
Words of outrage are already spreading across social networks. Veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleg Symoroz harshly expressed his views on his page on X:
"Now this underage scoundrel has been detained, but this means nothing until the police leadership that has covered for this wretched family is held accountable... The head of the patrol and local police must be immediately dismissed, and the State Bureau of Investigation must urgently investigate which investigative body turned a blind eye to the obvious fact of a criminal offense that should serve as a lesson for the major who feels like the 'center of the universe'... The lives of the people killed by this scoundrel are on the conscience of corrupt cops!"
5 6 Ukrainians fear that the boy with the "golden spoon" will be let off the hook. After all, the family's connections are quite influential. Interestingly, such attempts, according to the same social media information, are already being made. It has come to light that another resident of Dnipro – Valeriy, who is already of legal age and allegedly was behind the wheel at that time – is being blamed for the accident.
7 8 So far, the police have detained Arseniy, and the investigation continues. But society is already convinced – this case will be a test for law enforcement agencies. Will they miss the opportunity to demonstrate that everyone is equal before the law, or will it all end with another deal behind closed doors?
