Well-known Ukrainian veteran and activist Oleg Simoroz sharply criticized the actions of Kyiv City Council deputy Denis Moskaly from the "Batkivshchyna" party. Simoroz directly accused the deputy of facilitating illegal construction projects.
In a recent post on X, Oleg Simoroz shared a video showing Moskaly visiting the office of the developer "Stolitsa group," owned by Vlada Molchanova.
According to Simoroz, Molchanova is recognized as the main sponsor of the Kyiv organization of "Batkivshchyna" and is involved in numerous illegal construction projects in the capital, including the controversial residential complex "N2O" on the lands of the Osokorky Eco-Park. Oleg noted that Moskaly's visit to the developer's office coincided with the start of apartment sales in this residential complex.
"The environmental commission of the Kyiv City Council, chaired by Moskaly, has never responded to the massive destruction of the Osokorky Eco-Park. This is a direct conflict of interest, as the commission chairman openly collaborates with developers who are destroying the city’s ecosystem," - stated Simoroz.
The activist called on the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) to investigate Moskaly's actions and seek his removal from the position of chairman of the environmental commission. He also appealed to the head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Tymur Tkachенко, demanding the cancellation of the order to construct a road to the residential complex "N2O," funded by the city budget.
Oleg Simoroz, along with the team from the "People's Power" association, insists on halting construction in areas of ecological value and aligning them with the General Plan of Kyiv. They plan to file official complaints with the relevant authorities to document the facts of corrupt collusion within the city government.
The veteran urged Kyiv residents to participate in initiatives to protect the city and closely monitor the activities of deputies who are supposed to work in the interests of the public.
