DeepSeek has launched an image generator that surpasses American neural networks.

While American tech companies were working to recover from a record drop in stock prices, the Chinese startup DeepSeek launched another open-source artificial intelligence model. This time, it is an image generator that, according to the developers, surpasses OpenAI's DALL·E 3.
DeepSeek представила генератор изображений, который превосходит американские нейросети по качеству и возможностям.

A new AI model named Janus-Pro 7B, which suggests a powerful configuration of seven billion parameters, is now available for download.

In an article published alongside Janus-Pro 7B, representatives from DeepSeek stated that their image generator significantly outperforms industry leaders DALL·E3 and Stable Diffusion XL. However, Midjourney was excluded from the analysis.

The release of Janus-Pro 7B came immediately after DeepSeek made waves in the American tech industry with its large language model R1. Reportedly created with a budget of less than six million dollars, DeepSeek R1 was able to match the capabilities of leading AI models, such as OpenAI's o1.
