New images have emerged of a Chinese drone carrier ship.
Last week, an unidentified ship was spotted off the coast of Guangzhou, China, near the Guangzhou Shipyard International. This vessel was conducting its initial sea trials. Recently, new photographs showcasing the ship's expansive open flight deck have emerged on local social media platforms.

As reported by the publication TWZ, although the exact function of the vessel remains unclear, recently released photographs confirm that it is designed for helicopter operations (possibly in addition to fixed-wing drones).
At the same time, there are no apparent signs of catapults or restraining wires of the type that would be used for operating heavier fixed-wing aircraft.
