The world's largest seaplane has completed flight tests ahead of certification.
The Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) announced that its new large amphibious aircraft, the AG600, has successfully completed its final flight as part of the flight testing phase, paving the way for obtaining its airworthiness certification and subsequent entry into service.

According to data from AVIC, over the course of two years of testing, several AG600 aircraft completed more than 2000 flights, with over 10,000 parameters evaluated, totaling 3560 flight hours. These figures set a record for Chinese aviation.
The AG600M is the world's largest modern amphibious aircraft, designed for specialized civil tasks, including forest fire fighting and search and rescue operations at sea.
