Construction has resumed on the tallest building in the world.
Last year, the Jeddah Economic Company (JEC) made the decision to revive its ambitious project to construct the world's tallest skyscraper, the Jeddah Tower. On January 20, an official ceremony was held to mark the pouring of the 64th floor of the unfinished building. The event was attended by the tower's owner, Saudi Prince Al-Walid bin Talal.

According to plans, the tower is set to reach its 100th floor by August 2025, with the circular observation deck at the 160th floor expected to be completed by October 2026. The construction of the skyscraper will be finalized in March 2028.
The Jeddah Tower is intended to become the tallest building in the world, soaring over 1000 meters.
