Although the launch and stage separation proceeded as expected, Blue Origin was unable to return and land the first stage of New Glenn on the barge Jacklyn in the Atlantic Ocean as planned.
The first stage of the rocket was lost during descent, at an altitude of approximately 25 kilometers above the Earth's surface.
The second stage operated normally and reached orbit, delivering a demonstration payload—the prototype of the Blue Ring Pathfinder multi-purpose platform, designed to provide logistics services in space.
Blue Origin deemed the launch a success.
