The head of Roscosmos announced the number of launches required to deploy the Russian Orbital Service (ROS).

The head of the state corporation "Roscosmos," Yuri Borisov, discussed the construction of the Russian Orbital Station (ROS) during a broadcast on the "Russia-24" television channel.

According to Borisov, from 2027 to 2033, "Roscosmos" will carry out at least 34 launches, of which 15 will be for the heavy launch vehicle "Angara," and 19 will be for the "Progress" spacecraft. Before this period, specialists from the state corporation must establish ground infrastructure and prepare the cosmodrome.

The mockup of the promising transport spacecraft has already been delivered to the Cosmonaut Training Center, and preparations for new crews have begun.
