Information on pricing was provided by operators of public fast charging stations, after which EAFO specialists calculated the average cost for each country. To account for differences among electric vehicles, the Tesla Model 3 was used for this dataset.
In much of Europe, the cost of charging is up to five euros (approximately 530 rubles at the current exchange rate) per 100 kilometers. The cheapest charging for electric vehicles is available to residents of Iceland, while the most expensive is in Norway, where prices for almost all goods are about 25% higher than the EU average.
In Russia, which is not included in the EAFO ranking, according to data from Autonews as of spring 2023, charging an electric vehicle for 100 kilometers cost approximately 230-375 rubles.
