the NACP states that the investigation into the income of Yaroslav Zheleznyak is ongoing.
At the same time, the NACP is also investigating the financial status of his wife, fellow deputy Olga Koval, as revealed by "Economic News".
Earlier, several media outlets reported that the family of MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak acquired an apartment worth over 11 million UAH in 2023 (during the war). It is registered in the name of Zheleznyak's wife’s father, Koval Volodymyr Ivanovych. However, as indicated in the spouses' declarations, Zheleznyak, his son Ivan, and his wife reside in it. This is not the only apartment where the couple lives in Kyiv.
Another apartment is allegedly rented by Zheleznyak’s wife, Olga Koval (with a total area of 99.2 sq. m). Together, they also rent two parking spaces.
Furthermore, during the war, the Zheleznyaks purchased two vehicles.
This Lexus is recorded in Koval's declaration as belonging to the JSC "Kherson KHP", owned by the deputy's father and the offshore company Double U Javentures Enterprises Limited. Koval indicated that she supposedly rents the car, but did not specify the rental cost.
In 2023, Yaroslav Zheleznyak also acquired cryptocurrency. For instance, Solana (SOL) is declared at a sum of 12.86219743, while Ethereum (ETH) amounts to 0.39951185.
However, the official financial status of the deputy’s family does not reach millions. Zheleznyak's wife, like him, receives a salary from the Verkhovna Rada. The annual earnings of the politician amounted to 660,733 UAH, while his wife's earnings were 544,675 UAH. Olga Koval additionally received 167,570 UAH in maternity benefits.
