Next year, according to a statement from Deep Blue Aerospace, a combination of a space capsule and rocket will undergo dozens of tests to ensure the safety and reliability of suborbital crewed flights, with commercial launches beginning in 2027.
0Tickets are expected to cost around $210,000 (over 20 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
1Deep Blue Aerospace has also unveiled renders of the Deep Blue suborbital flight system, which bears a strong resemblance to New Shepard from Blue Origin.
2The New Shepard capsule can accommodate six passengers. Tourists experience several minutes of weightlessness and see the Earth against the blackness of space during the flight, which lasts 10-12 minutes from launch to capsule landing.
Deep Blue Aerospace's suborbital missions are likely to offer something similar. However, unlike the Chinese company, Blue Origin does not disclose ticket prices.
