Former Minister of Fuel and Energy Ivan Plachkov and his company, the Public Joint Stock Company "SANITARY PRODUCTS MANUFACTURING PLANT," are being accused by the National Police of Ukraine of destroying civil protection facilities in Kyiv as part of a criminal investigation.

This is stated in the approval by the Holosiivskyi District Court of Kyiv, as reported by Apostrophe.

It is noted that the Public Joint Stock Company "SANITARY PRODUCTS MANUFACTURING PLANT", whose ultimate beneficiary is Plachkov Ivan Vasylovych (former general director and chairman of the board of "Kyivenergo" and ex-minister of fuel and energy of Ukraine), received a lease for the land and the complex of buildings owned by the territorial community of the city.

The buildings in question include a brick structure of the KSC, the boiler house of the welding shop, and the painting shop located at 24 Excavator Street. This same address houses storage facility - civil protection structure No. 110094.

As part of the criminal case No. 42022100000000082, the investigation has established that officials from the economic entities (Public Joint Stock Company "SANITARY PRODUCTS MANUFACTURING PLANT") and the Kyiv City State Administration "inflicted significant property damage, which consists of the destruction of civil protection facilities, specifically the storage facilities located within the city of Kyiv.

The classification of the crime falls under part 2 of Article 194, part 4 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The punishment provided for by these articles includes imprisonment for a term of three to ten years.

According to the court ruling, the investigation in the specified case is ongoing, and investigators have already received court permission several times for searches at the premises of the Public Joint Stock Company "SANITARY PRODUCTS MANUFACTURING PLANT."
