Tax authorities have imposed additional tax charges on businesses, exceeding 100 billion.

This was reported by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, Danilo Hetmantsev.

According to his information, out of the total amount of additional taxes, voluntarily agreed obligations amounted to 17.3 billion UAH. The rest have been challenged in courts.

"Interesting statistics from the tax audit results for the first 9 months of 2024. As a result of the audit, taxpayers were assessed an additional 110.9 billion UAH, of which agreed obligations amounted to 17.3 billion UAH. Decisions in favor of the State Tax Service were made on 37.9 billion UAH or 63% of the cases reviewed at all levels of judicial appeal. Regarding the other additional amounts, appeals are ongoing," Hetmantsev reported.
