This peculiar initiative was noted by journalist Anton Pavlushko on Facebook. During the war, Ukrainians have already purchased 13 such vehicles, with several owners being deputies, representatives of the "old school" from the 90s, and simply luxury enthusiasts.
"I approached one of the mentioned deputies - he is asking for contributions for a vehicle for the military. Vatsak, by the way, is not new to such scandals. In the fall, he was caught purchasing a Rolls-Royce Cullinan – he was spotted in the government quarter, where the vehicle was registered in his name. Now the MP has decided to exercise caution and registered the new Spectre under a "front person."
But that's not all. In the Vinnytsia region, Vatsak is known as the main defender of the Moscow Church. He allegedly actively blocks the transitions of parishes to the local Orthodox Church of Ukraine, provoking the anger of local activists.
At the same time, the MP does not forget to mention that he himself helps the army. According to him, over the past two years, he has donated 152 thousand hryvnias for defense needs. However, when comparing this amount to the price of just one of his Rolls-Royces... Ukrainians in the comments are puzzled: why not simply sell one of his luxury cars?
- "This is not called 'for a vehicle for the military,' but 'a vehicle for my godfather, to transport his a** in the rear.'
- "People with a castrated conscience."
- "And then Ukrainians want other countries to help us."
