Plans to produce one Starship per day may soon become a reality.

The construction of the assembly facility named GigaBay is set to commence in April 2025. This new facility will add to the existing "collection" of three hangars — Highbay, Megabay, and Megabay 2 — and will serve as a part of the vertical integration complex for the Starship transportation system. GigaBay will stand at a height of 116 meters.

The construction of this new hangar will aid in increasing the production of Starship spacecraft and Super Heavy rockets, which will ultimately ensure a higher launch cadence and assist SpaceX in achieving its ambitious goal of producing one Starship per day.
