A reintegration center for military personnel released from captivity has been established in Ukraine.
This is the first healthcare facility of its kind.
The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports this.
As noted by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, the medical institution operates in the central region and is already providing medical, rehabilitation, and psychological assistance to defenders after their return from captivity. The facility received its corresponding status through an order from the Ministry of Defense.
The reintegration center is a specialized complex that offers all services in one location: medical, rehabilitation, and psychological support. Additionally, reintegration activities and assistance with obtaining certificates and restoring documents are conducted there.
The first center is designed for 100 places, with the potential to expand to 200 or more through rehabilitation beds.
"We have also received initial suggestions and requests from military personnel and medical staff. All of them will be taken into account by the Department of Health of the Ministry of Defense," Umerov added.
