Tesla's Optimus robot has mastered walking on rough terrain.

The owner of Tesla, Elon Musk, announced on social media platform X that the robot was moving "with its eyes closed," as engineers have not yet integrated vision into the control system for navigating rough terrain.

Optimus walked using only onboard sensors, operated by a neural network.

Previously, Tesla stated that it is already utilizing several robots at its factory, and Musk suggested that the company would begin selling Optimus to customers next year.
