A number of former Ukrainian officials have likely visited Russia multiple times during the years of the war. At least, this information is contained in the leaked scanned copies of FSB border service documents, reports UNN.

According to the information in these documents, the individual who traveled to Russia the most times since the start of the war in 2014 is Andrey Smirnov, the former deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, who is currently suspected of illegal enrichment by NABU. The documents indicate a person whose name and date of birth match Smirnov's details, and this individual has visited Russia 22 times since the beginning of the war in Donbas and almost until the full-scale invasion of Russia.

The documents also mention Andrey Kostin, whose date of birth matches that of the recently dismissed Attorney General. This individual traveled to Russia 11 times after the war began. The last visit occurred just two weeks before the presidential elections on March 19, 2019.

The leaked documents also mention a person whose details correspond to those of Yuri Vaskov – the former Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine. This Vaskov first visited Russia in June 2015 during the war and subsequently made 18 more trips to the aggressor country.

It should be noted that leaks from Russian state databases have occurred repeatedly.
