Zelensky revealed the topics to be discussed at the upcoming meeting of the new Contact Group.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to discuss Ukraine's invitation to NATO at the meeting of the Contact Group on ending the war.

У Зеленского объявили темы, которые будут обсуждены на первом заседании новой Контактной группы.

This was stated by Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Igor Zhovkva during a survey titled "Foreign Policy and Security: Attitudes of Ukrainian Society," conducted on behalf of the Center for "New Europe."

"One of the topics of such a meeting, one of the agenda items, will undoubtedly include the issue we are discussing, the application for NATO membership, as well as the question of security guarantees for Ukraine until the moment of NATO accession, alongside other matters, including military support for Ukraine," – quotes the official as reported by RBC-Ukraine.

According to Igor Zhovkva, these issues were also raised during the recent meeting between the President of Ukraine and French President Emmanuel Macron, as well as newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump.

Recall that on December 9, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that our country has organized a new Contact Group to establish a unified position regarding the end of the war with the Russian Federation.

We also wrote that, according to a survey conducted on behalf of the Center for "New Europe," Ukrainians believe that the best guarantees of security for the state are the development of nuclear weapons (31.3%) and gradual NATO accession (29.3%).
