Ukraine has received a new tranche of funds from the IMF.

Ukraine has received another tranche of $1.1 billion from the International Monetary Fund.

Украина получила очередной транш финансовой помощи от МВФ.

The funds will be allocated to cover essential non-military budget expenses, reported Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

“This tranche was received thanks to the successful fifth review of the EFF program amounting to $15.6 billion,” – noted the head of government.

It is worth mentioning that this is already the third tranche from the IMF since the beginning of this year. In particular, in March, our country received a tranche of $900 million. Then there was a tranche of $2.2 billion in July.

Another tranche of $1.1 billion is expected in December of this year. This became possible after the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund approved the fifth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program for Ukraine in October.

It should be noted that in April 2023, the IMF Executive Board approved a four-year financing program of $15.6 billion for our state.
