In Britain, a remarkably well-preserved sword has been discovered, buried in the ground for 1,500 years.
At an Anglo-Saxon cemetery in Kent, England, archaeologists have discovered a well-preserved sword dating back to the 6th century AD.

The sword's hilt is made of silver and coated with gold, while runic inscriptions adorn the blade. Elements of the scabbard made from leather, wood, and beaver fur have also been preserved.
Archaeologists noted that they had never encountered such a weapon in such excellent condition before.
