China has developed its first six-ton unmanned tiltrotor aircraft.

United Aircraft has released a photo of the first completed prototype of the R6000 drone tiltrotor, showcased on the production line at the Wuhu Aviation industrial park in Anhui Province, eastern China.

The R6000 tiltrotor project was showcased at the Singapore Airshow in early 2024, and now China has presented a fully functional prototype.

According to reports from the publication TWZ, the new unmanned aerial vehicle Zhang Ying R6000 will be able to transport 10 passengers at a cruising speed of 550 kilometers per hour, with a maximum flight altitude of 7620 meters and a maximum range of 4000 kilometers.
