The Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported that a hostile "Shahed" drone was shot down over Dnipropetrovsk region on the night of October 24, as conveyed by "Vidomo".
"Air defense was active in Dnipropetrovsk region at night. The 'Vostok' private military company unit destroyed the enemy's Shahed," the official wrote on Telegram.
According to information from the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 8:30 AM, the downing of 40 enemy UAVs has been confirmed in the Odesa, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Poltava, and Chernihiv regions.
Additionally, 7 Russian drones have been lost in terms of location, with 1 in the airspace of Ukraine, and another 2 returned towards Russia and Belarus.
