Drones will be capable of ascending to altitudes of approximately 18-25 kilometers and loitering over designated areas for a month or longer, providing communication services to the population.
The aircraft developed by "Stratolink" is a fixed-wing drone with a wingspan of 40 meters, capable of carrying a payload of up to 40 kilograms. It will be equipped with four electric motors that harness solar energy. Solar panels are installed on the upper surface of the wings, allowing the drone to store energy during the day while flying and utilize it at night.
It is anticipated that the experimental operation of the products will commence in late 2025 to early 2026.
