Russia is developing its first car-drone hybrid.

The trials for the 1:5 scale flying car model designated IF-9 are set to take place this month.

The IF-9 prototype features a wheeled platform with a two-seat cabin and a retractable cover, allowing passengers to enter the cabin.

At the corners of the platform, there are foldable pylons equipped with propeller engines. When traveling on a road, these pylons are stored in a retracted position within the vehicle's body, but they can be deployed to transform the IF-9 into a quadcopter-like configuration when needed.
