Starting today, November 11, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission begins its work in Ukraine.
She will be working on the preparation of the sixth review of the program.
This was announced by member of the Financial Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, in
Telegram.
The deputy noted that "as of today, everything is going well regarding the milestones in Ukraine; much has even been done ahead of schedule." However, Zheleznyak reminded that "for already the 28th day, the tax law has not been signed... which was promised to partners back in September."
Let us remind you that this year the IMF may allocate another tranche to Ukraine amounting to $1.1 billion as a result of the sixth review of the program totaling $15.6 billion for the years 2023-2027.
On October 23, Ukraine received another tranche from the International Monetary Fund amounting to $1.1 billion.
Additionally, it is worth noting that the Verkhovna Rada recently
adopted a bill on the reform of the State Audit Office. The number of members of the SAO will now be reduced to 11, with international experts receiving preference during the selection process.
