The Agency for the Search and Management of Assets (ARMA) has signed an additional agreement with Chornomornaftogaz regarding the management of 26 regional gas companies associated with the RGK group, linked to Dmytro Firtash.

It is known that by the summer of 2022, RGK was the largest player in the gas distribution market. After its transition to Naftogaz, the state concern took control of over 60% of the market.
The signing of the new agreement required the Cabinet's order No. 777-r dated August 20, which instructed ARMA to transfer the regional gas companies to the management of Chornomornaftogaz following a re-arrest.

ARMA considers the management and fulfillment of financial obligations to be effective. The manager guaranteed payment of over 500 million hryvnias from the management of these assets in 2023, ARMA officials stated.
The RGK group is linked to Dmytro Firtash, although he is not officially the beneficiary of this company.
In May 2022, the Pechersk District Court arrested and transferred the corporate rights of 26 regional gas companies to ARMA’s management. Subsequently, the government transferred these assets to Naftogaz. The reason for the arrest was non-payment of 1.5 billion hryvnias for network usage.
In the summer of 2022, ARMA signed an agreement with Chornomornaftogaz (part of the Naftogaz group) for the management of the corporate rights of gas distribution companies.
