The Chancellor of Germany has arrived in Ukraine.

This is his first visit in two and a half years, reports Tagesschau.



In Kyiv, the German Chancellor will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. During the visit, he plans to announce the provision of weapons to our country worth 650 million euros, which are expected to be delivered in December.

Let us remind you that in November of this year, Ukraine also hosted foreign high-ranking officials. For instance, we wrote that on November 15, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Richard Verma, who is also the acting special representative for U.S. economic recovery in Ukraine, arrived in Kyiv.

On November 16, we reported on the visit of Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya. And on November 22, the Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský arrived in Kyiv.
