The enemy has launched an intercontinental ballistic missile at Ukraine.

Russian terrorists launched a missile strike against Ukraine on the morning of November 21.

Враг запустил межконтинентальную баллистическую ракету по территории Украины.
The occupiers have, in particular, launched an intercontinental ballistic missile.

This information is reported by the command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.

It is noted that on the morning of November 21, 2024, between 05:00 and 07:00, Russian troops attacked the city of Dnipro (including enterprises and critical infrastructure) with missiles of various types. Specifically, an intercontinental ballistic missile was launched from the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation, an air-launched ballistic missile X-47M2 "Dagger" was fired from a MiG-31K fighter jet in the Tambov region, and seven X-101 cruise missiles were launched from strategic bombers Tu-95MS (launch area – Volgograd).

As a result of the air defense battle, units of the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Forces destroyed six X-101 missiles. Other missiles had no significant consequences.

The intercontinental ballistic missile of the "ground-to-ground" class has a range of at least 5,500 km. Missiles of this class are typically equipped with nuclear warheads and are intended to strike strategically important enemy targets located at great distances.

Recall that Russia distributed false messages on behalf of Ukrainian intelligence regarding an alleged threat of a particularly massive missile strike on Ukrainian cities the day before, on November 20.

Earlier, the GUR reported that an investigation into the components of the Russian drone "Gerbera" revealed numerous parts of Western and Chinese manufacture.

Also earlier in November, intelligence reported the destruction of a Mi-24 attack helicopter in the Moscow region of the Russian Federation.
