Zelensky has signed a decree establishing a new holiday.

The decree of the Head of State №14/2025 has been published on the official website of the President of Ukraine.

“Taking into account the significant contribution of the State Special Transport Service to ensuring the stable operation of transport during peacetime and in special periods, as well as fulfilling tasks related to technical support, restoration at facilities of the national transport system of Ukraine, and other duties associated with participation in the defense of the state, I hereby decree: To establish a Day of the State Special Transport Service in Ukraine, which will be celebrated annually on February 5,” the document states.

Previously, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree establishing a new national holiday – Day of Ukrainian Statehood.
