In the city of Dnipro, the issue of drinking water quality is particularly pressing. Every day, millions of residents rely on a continuous supply of clean and safe water essential for drinking, cooking, hygiene, and numerous other daily needs. Therefore, consistent and thorough monitoring of its quality is not just desirable but a critically important aspect of public safety, as reported by "Vidomo" referencing the Dnipro City Council.

A recent water quality inspection in Dnipro confirmed the high standards maintained by the city's water supply services.

Laboratory tests conducted by specialists cover over 50 indicators, providing a comprehensive analysis of the water's condition. This is not merely a surface assessment but a deep dive into the chemical and bacteriological composition aimed at identifying any deviations from established norms. The water analysis procedure is a complex and multi-stage process that includes several steps.

Steps for monitoring water quality in Dnipro:

  1. Sampling;
  2. Physico-chemical analysis;
  3. Bacteriological analysis;
  4. Chlorine content analysis;
  5. Analysis for toxic substances.

As part of the monthly monitoring, over 20,000 water tests are conducted.

The data from each analysis is meticulously documented and entered into a database, allowing for the tracking of changes in water quality over time.

Recent inspection results showed that the drinking water supplied to the residents of Dnipro fully complies with sanitary standards and requirements.
