A man perished in a fire at his home in Samara (PHOTOS).

On the evening of January 23, around 21:25, a one-story residential building caught fire on Vyacheslav Chornovol Street in Samara, as reported by "Vidomo" citing the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Region.

During the firefighting efforts, unfortunately, rescuers discovered the lifeless body of a 55-year-old man.

The emergency responders extinguished the flames that engulfed belongings in the room, the roof, and the ceiling of the house over an area of 30 square meters.

Nine rescuers and two units of firefighting and rescue equipment from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Region were dispatched to the scene.
